The Dialogue Centre is a modern institution that deals with memory, history and the identity of the city. Collaborating with Polish and foreign artists, experts, scientists, using modern educational methods, original programmes and creative solutions, the Dialogue Centre offers a dynamic and diverse cultural and educational offer, addressed to both the Polish and foreign communities, who visit the institution and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a in increasing numbers.<\/p>\n\n
From the very beginning, most of our projects have had a very topical context, distinguishing the contemporary and multicultural aspect of Lodz, according to the adopted principle: REMEMBER, UNDERSTAND, ACTION.<\/p>\n\n
Remember the Past<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Understand the Present<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Create the Future<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a was established in 2011. , is dedicated to popularising the multi-ethnic and multi-religious heritage of Poland, especially \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, as well as figures who played an important role in building local and national identity, including Jan Karski, Marek Edelman and Artur Szyk. An important element of the Dialogue Centre’s activities is to promote the idea of tolerance and to counteract manifestations of racism, xenophobia and disrespect for people of different worldviews, origins and cultures.<\/p>\n\n The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in \u0141od\u017a was the organiser of the (then) \u0141\u00f3d\u017a of Four Cultures Festival in 2011-2012 and from 2017 to 2023.
